PAL BT

Hard to believe a tiny box broadcasts in such a powerful and pleasing manner. Simple and sharp. Jaw dropping acoustic. Fresh bright sound. Rich red colour and minimalist design actually makes my tired kitchen look hip. A Cardinal on my counter.

Pal BT has exceptional sound on FM.
The sound quality is lacking when paired with BT. The sound seems much lower when turned to the high volume setting.

We love our PAL BT's presently we have 2. One concern regarding a unit we purchased in 2023. It just stopped working. I communicated with customer service regarding this and tried all suggested methods to see if the unit would come back to life. No success. I asked what options were available to me understanding the unit was out of warranty. Customer service offered a 25% discount on a new unit. Although not entirely pleased I went ahead with the purchase. Not to much after that I receive an email from Tivoli announcing a valentines day offer on the same unit for 25% off. So I really did not receive any compensation for the failure of the PAL BT. Considering it was not very old I am really disappointed in customer support on these units. As a note we have now owned 4 of the PAL BT's. Two are presently operational, our first just plain wore out due to use, the second as described above - failed without cause. I am hopeful we will get many years service from these two units.

It is a gift and it cannot be reviewed until after Christmas.
